During the Ethics Committee meeting the idea was proposed to create an ethics certification, to recognize the Tax Administrations that are committed to values, standards, ethics and integrity.

The International Transparency report is based on a survey of 114,000 participants from 107 countries. The survey dealt with the participants’ direct experiences with bribery and their viewpoints regarding corruption in their countries’ main institutions.  It also provided detailed information regarding the people’s willingness to put an end to corruption.
